    I have been an active volunteer of The Friendship Circle Organization that pairs teens with children with special needs. For four years I have been meeting at least once per week with a boy who is now 13-years-old. I have developed a meaningful relationship with both this boy and his family that extends beyond the requirements of involvement in the program.

    Children

    The C.O.A.S.T program, which is run through the Chabad at Washington University, allows me to work with special needs kids. Every week I am paired with the same individual where we accomplish educational tasks. I find this volunteer work very worth while as it allows me to really make an impact in an individuals life. That is why I decided to continue working with children with special needs after high school.
