About

How many of your business challenges are caused by people not implementing things as intended?

Even the best strategies only work when:

👉 your team is capable of executing the strategy
👉 your team members do what they promised to do
👉 your team is willing to change direction when what they’re doing isn’t working

You might notice some of the common symptoms of these people problems:

🚩 You've implemented new tech, a new process, or new software, but you can't get people to use it consistently.
🚩 Though people say they’re committed, they continue to miss important deadlines.
🚩 Your time gets eaten up by day to day problems -- such as disagreements between people that cause team members to function in silo's instead of working together.

It’s tricky to distinguish root problems from symptoms.

🗝️ With persistent business issues, people are the root cause and the solution.

My approach is based on a proven, data-driven process to understand your people and how they view the issues. That makes it easier for you to implement change in a way that gets immediate buy-in from your team. You also discover where to invest resources to build team health quickly.

Most of my clients are successful business leaders who are challenged with the rapid rate of change and their next level of growth.

With change and business growth, there's:
🌀 more places for communication to fall apart
🌀 more complexity in the business
🌀 more uncertainty of how to leverage talents of key contributors (right people, right seats).

These business execs realize they need a better understanding of the problem for them to create novel solutions.

🖼️ 'It's hard to see the frame when you're inside the picture.'

The rest of my clients are other business consultants, including EOSIs, who are looking for expertise in the people and team health aspects of business.

If you'd like a new perspective on your challenges, I'd love to have a chat with you. You can reach out here (but you'll get a quicker response via email nancy@drjonker.com).

“As heart-centered entrepreneurs, we want to serve the world and we put that in an offer. We want to change the world, we want to have a positive impact on the planet, and we put that up really high on our list. But the challenge is, in order to do that, you need to have reached an audience and build a tribe. And to do that you need to know some marketing elements. And so, without those other pieces in it, it’s going to be a struggle.” – Michael Neeley

“If you really want to be able to get out there and serve the planet, you got to be able to scale.” – Michael Neeley

“I think podcasting is great, and part of why I think it’s so great is because the barrier to entry is so low. It doesn’t cost a lot of money, it doesn’t require a ton of skill, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist or brain surgeon, it’s really pretty simple to get the podcast up and running. And I consider that then the tip of the spear because it’s also one of those things that you want to kind of like planting a seed and then let it grow over time.” – Michael Neeley

“I recommend to my clients, plant that seed, get your podcast up and running. And then let’s focus on how to grow it, how to do other elements of your business as your podcast grows, and continue to really get your message out there.” – Michael Neeley

“Identify the vision where you want to go. What is it the level you want to attain? What is it that you’re trying to go to? Set a vision because when there is no vision, the people will perish. You even need to have your own mission statement, your own vision of what it is you want to attain. Because without that, and without connecting emotion to it, what do you get up and get excited about every day? You just show up? You need to be moved by the vision of what’s ahead. And then you need to put that into your morning routine.” – Darleen Santore

Nancy Junker is very passionate and has done all the work by creating a Power Formula that will help me reach my goals. She has made it very easy. The book also includes a companion workbook that you can even download. You will also have access to MP3 recordings that are very helpful audio exercises. What a great value bundle!

I am very excited to start the new year with this high quality guide in my tool box. I plan to follow her formula as I believe it will make a difference and allow me to achieve my goals.

Wow! Forget about starting out the New Year at the gym...instead, pick up this book and read! Working on the inside will provide the energy to work on the outside. 'Get Your Power On' brings insight, empowerment and relief!

Packed with many "oh my gosh, that's me" moments, this book helped identify the cause of stuck and trapped feelings in my life. The author details the origination of negative self-perceptions and describes ways we choose to give away power - often in ways we don't recognize or may not realize there is a choice. Her examples helped identify where I'm settling for less and gave hope for being the best I can be for myself and others. She provides simple steps and solutions that can be practiced toward having a more empowered, satisfying life.

This book is easy to read, insightful and fast moving. I recommend reading it with a couple close friends, discuss together where it applies to your life and encourage one another to walk in your own empowerment. That's what I'm going to do! And then I'll hit the gym.

Wow! this is one power packed book. I think the most riveting moment for me in the book was when the author narrates a situation which she has names as 'frozen' in the book. I have had a few similar situations in my life when I was frozen but I never analyzed the situation after it was over. Though the frozen situation described in the book is not the gravest of situations, the author put a lot of thought behind it and decided to truly empower herself. That was the biggest learning for me from this book.

This book is a great tool for ladies who have a desire to be strong and successful. Nancy gives many cases studies of her clients and through those cases studies you will be able to easily identify your weaknesses. Then just follow the guidance given in the book. The book makes me feel that confidence and personal power are tangible things and it is absolutely possible to improve on them.

My favorite part is that she incorporates strengths into the mix. She advocates for StrengthsFinder and other assessments. Then to use those to expand into your strengths. Full disclosure, I do strengths-based development for a living, so I'm keen on this philosophy. The author offers a brilliant nuance. While most people tell you to expand the strength itself, she offers a way for you to expand YOU...essentially to live into your strengths.

The author talks about the 7 dimensions of personal power including Emotional functioning as well as the concept of limiting beliefs as she discusses the 5 (plus) beliefs that most limit one's power. I love the way the author entwines her exercises, advice and knowledge with real life examples of case studies - which really bring home the point she is making. I particularly found the audio "freebies" a great help and they, along with the workbook, really turned this book into a genuine, all round learning - and empowering - experience. This book is a compassionate guide for women who want to use their own inner wisdom to develop greater personal power. The author describes what personal power actually is (breaking it down into 7 dimensions that include cognitive and emotional functioning, boundaries and risk taking) and explains how limiting beliefs can keep us from managing effectively in just about every aspect of our lives. The book is full of real life examples of how important it is to have personal power - I particularly liked the part about self-trust. There are practical exercises like journaling and there’s lots of information about how to use body language, energy and voice to communicate better and handle challenging situations. The tone is very engaging and conversational. Dr. Jonker also offers a free downloadable companion workbook and audio exercises. If you're feeling insecure and don't know where to find the strength you need to go after your goals, this is a worthwhile and empowering read!

I found it so interesting how the author addresses the personal power of each woman, not just in terms of her thoughts and speech, but also in terms of how a woman's body awareness and sense of physical power relate to her sense of personal power. The author taught me that how I stand and sit affect my own sense of my personal power. I'm not used to therapists or self-help books giving such a range of avenues to address an issue. Jonker's perspectives and methods really speak to me. I give this book the highest recommendation.

I could see a pattern in myself that had up until then, remained hidden. I made some real changes in how I relate to women that I had perceived as a threat. It's liberating to not have to operate like that anymore. I have less fear. I've never had the experience of reading a book, seeing something new, knowing what to do, doing it and have a real change happen.

Even those business owners, with or without employees, must be able to set themselves apart. By incorporating WEN into your business networking arsenal, you surround yourself with like-minded individuals who can help you to identify and accomplish your vision. Through WEN, lasting relationships can be formed with other successful businesspeople.

WEN is committed to local business owners and to the encouragement and support of entrepreneurial businesses toward successful development.
