Dr. Nadia Richardson was selected for the inaugural Women's Policy Institute Fellowship. Administered through the Women's Fund of Greater Birmingham, the Women’s Policy Institute (WPI) is a community-led, women-centered strategy for building grassroots leadership and community power that is intersectional and multi-issue. The WPI Fellowship is a 40-hour experiential learning curriculum designed to train community-based leaders in Alabama in public policy advocacy. The goal of WPI is to increase…

National Minority Quality Forum
After receiving hundreds of applications and nominations from health care professionals across the country, 40 individuals were chosen to represent the next generation of thought leaders working to reduce health disparities and decrease health inequality for minority communities. The 2018 recipients include a wide range of health professionals including: physicians, pharmacists, dentists, anesthesiologists, nurses, policy experts, researchers, and others.
