“Mohan and I worked closely with one another for over a year as Mohan was the engineering manager and tech lead on Zenefits’ Benefits Administration Product, which I was the lead PM for. Mohan is an intellectual athlete and execution machine. He managed a team of 6 engineers and successfully led the launch of one of the largest benefits products at Zenefits, which was crucial to the company’s strategy. Mohan had a great way of energizing and building camaraderie among the team despite the work load and aggressive timelines on the roadmap. He continually reminded the team to always put the customer first and ensure the customers' voice and feedback was driving decisions – so much so that customers and end users of our products knew Mohan by his name! Mohan also had a knack for always thinking 10 steps ahead. This was shown when our product needed to scale rapidly in the span of 5 months. Decisions that Mohan made architecturally allowed the product to withstand the additional users on the platform. I have learned something new every day working with Mohan, whether it be leadership skills, technical or product. I look forward to working with Mohan again and highly recommend him.”
