    This work is about designing a complete mixed-signal ASIC interface solution to MEMS vibratory gyroscope sensor for consumer applications. The circuit is made up of three main blocks; Drive Loop, Sense Channel, and Digital Manipulator.Design flow starts from system design and definition to circuit design and layout. The whole system is implemented using 0.13μm CMOS TSMC technology. The final performance to be achieved is a programm-able ±(250/125/32)dps with 0-100Hz rate measurement up to ENOB…

    This work is about designing a complete mixed-signal ASIC interface solution to MEMS vibratory gyroscope sensor for consumer applications. The circuit is made up of three main blocks; Drive Loop, Sense Channel, and Digital Manipulator.Design flow starts from system design and definition to circuit design and layout. The whole system is implemented using 0.13μm CMOS TSMC technology. The final performance to be achieved is a programm-able ±(250/125/32)dps with 0-100Hz rate measurement up to ENOB of 8.7bits with 2.25mWatt power consumption. The project is sponsored by SI-Ware Systems.
