Growth of Legal Sports Betting on Golf Across The US

My Bet on Tiger Woods at the U.S. Open didn’t pan out, but Sports Betting across the country will.

The U.S. Open at Pebble Beach in California was one of the most beautiful golf events I have attended, and Gary Woodland came away with an amazing victory at a course with challenging conditions As luck would have it, Gary walked away with $2.25 million after his win. I, unfortunately, did not walk away so lucky. I did however come quite close with my pick of Brooks Koepka (2nd place finish).
Even though I did not win big money on this golf tournament, I’m confident that I will have easier opportunities to place additional sports bets in the future. Prior to the U.S. Open, the state of Illinois passed legislation legalizing sports betting. It was among the most recent states – Indiana, Iowa, and Tennessee — to have passed bills that legalize it in some form. The bill stands out from other state bills because it legalizes sports betting not only at casinos, but race tracks and sports venues of 17,000 seats or greater. -
I bet on Tiger Woods to win the US Open

The US open is just under a month away and Tiger Woods is still the odds-on favorite to win so I backed him. This has now allowed for states to pass their own sports betting laws and regulations. It is now expanding rather quickly across the US in just over a year. With the 15-year age gap though, even millennials claim there are personality differences between the younger and older members of this group. One thing is for sure, most companies have realized the importance of this generation and are trying to find ways to connect with them by creating interactions that resonate and potentially transform into customer loyalty. This remains true for companies in the retail and financial institution sectors who have invested heavily in the digital world. They aimed to try and attract this segment, thinking that it was the best route to secure the business of this very profitable generation and remain competitive in the market.
