During this year, the first Five Oustanding Young Dallasites (FOYD) had over 100 attendees, including the Mayor of Dallas. Membership remained over 140.

Also hosted the Junior Chamber World President and two US Junior Chamber National presidents. The chapter received numerous state awards for membership growth during this year.

    There are no paid employees in the Dallas Junior Chamber; nearly everyone has a full time job while involved. The focus is developing young people through community service. You have one year to lead before moving on to another role and pulling a successor into your previous role (Fiscal year changed from March to January during this year)
