“I'm delighted to recommend Michelle, who served as my dedicated sales trainer & mentor during my time at GWI for over a year. Michelle's influence on my professional journey has been truly transformational. From the very first moment I joined the team, Michelle brought an exuberant and uplifting energy to every sales training session, which immediately set the tone for an engaging and dynamic learning experience. What sets Michelle apart is her unwavering commitment to our development at every stage of the onboarding and sales training process. Her training sessions are not just informative but highly interactive, fostering an environment where everyone's voice is not only heard but valued. She goes above and beyond by actively seeking and incorporating our feedback to tailor future sessions to our specific needs, ensuring that each session is valuable. As someone who began my career at GWI with minimal sales experience, I saw remarkable progress within 30 days, thanks to Michelle's guidance. She genuinely cares about each individual's development journey and offers support that goes beyond the training sessions. Michelle's personable nature and engaging sessions make learning enjoyable and memorable. Through working with Michelle, I've learned the vital importance of personal branding & her mentorship has inspired me to construct a compelling personal brand, enabling me to effectively connect with prospects and more. She's more than a mentor and sales trainer; she's a genuine source of inspiration. I recommend Michelle to anyone aspiring to excel in sales!”

What's your strategy for staying current with adult learning theory and practice?
In order to stay current with adult learning theory and practices, it’s important to take an omnichannel approach. From reading books, listening to podcasts, subscribing to newsletters, following organizations/groups/influencers on LinkedIn/Instagram/Facebook/etc, attending online and in-person seminars, networking, becoming more active in your professional community, taking courses/certifications, creating online alerts for the most current notifications, and (especially) understanding the shift in learning that has taken place as a result of the pandemic, there are a multitude of ways to stay current and well informed.

Women from around the globe have joined together to create a community of 14,000+ women in sales who band together for the support and professional development that only another woman can provide. We want to level the playing field. We want to have conversations otherwise considered taboo and we want to hold leaders accountable and ask the hard questions.
Simply put, our members want to redefine what it means to be a woman in sales.

I have been raising awareness and money to help fund more research and services to support those who struggle with or have lost a life due to ALS. I do the Walk to Defeat ALS in NYC every year. My grandmother died from ALS in 2010 and I have devoted myself to this cause in her honor and memory.

My brother-in-law passed away in April of 2017 from a rare form of lung cancer. He was quite young and left behind his wife and 2 young children. Through the support of COPE and Camp Erin, my family had the opportunity to meet with other grieving families who are going through the same difficult and life changing events.
