Malinda Harrell CMP Fellow, CASE

The Bizzell Award of Excellence was created in memory of Corey D. Bizzell, a longtime member of the Carolinas Chapter of MPI. Corey exemplified excellence and dedication, not only to the chapter, but in every aspect of his life. Bizzell was a constant advocate of elevating our meetings industry to the next level. In honor of his legacy, the President will award a chapter member who has demonstrated a superior level of excellence, passion, and leadership in their service to MPI-CC.

The chapter Hall of Fame Award recognizes and rewards MPI-CC members who exemplify excellence and enduring service to MPI. Candidate must be a current member of MPI in good standing with at least 10 years of cumulative service as a Carolinas Chapter member. Supplier of the year Award

This award recognizes an individual who has been a member 4 years or fewer and has made significant contributions to MPI and the meetings industry. Based on the same criteria as the Planner/Supplier of the Year award.

Patsy B. Smith Award (Outstanding Affiliate Member)

Patsy B. Smith, for whom this award is named, was the first Affiliate member to serve on the AENC Board of Directors. She was a member for several years, during which time she maintained an active interest in the organization and its members. In memory of her outstanding contributions, AENC presents this award as the highest honor bestowed upon an individual in the Allied or Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) membership category. In memory of her outstanding contributions, AENC presents this award as the highest honor bestowed upon an individual in the Allied or Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) membership category. While recognizing outstanding professionalism and exemplary service to the association community, the award also recognizes a member’s contribution to his or her employing organization and to other professional organizations.

At the time of nomination, the candidate must be employed in his or her present position for a minimum of one year and must have been an Affiliate member for at least the past five consecutive years. Show less
