    This disclosure describes methods, systems, and devices for the authentication of a driving license with an embedded computer chip, and the recordation and transmission of driving-related parameters through the use of the chip-based driving license. The chip-based driving license allows for measurement of driving parameters for individuals training for a driving test or driving under a restricted driving license. The chip-based driving license will further allow for real-time or near-real-time notification of the performance of a driver operating under a training or restricted driving license. Such measurements and notifications should improve both driver education and driver restriction.
