The Public Arts Commission is working to make life in Suwanee just a bit more colorful, a bit more, well, artful. The City Council-appointed Public Arts Commission was established to work with and encourage developers to include public art or support public art as a component of new projects and to create programs that bring and promote public art in Suwanee.

The committee help support the Gwinnett Shelter and the PADV organization by raising money, in kind donations, and supporting educational programming for the shelter.

Help develop and define the roles and responsibilities of the new Outreach and Inclusion Committees. Attend management board meetings and work with other committee chairs. Oversee the Recruiting, Outreach, and Inclusion Committees.

Selection and planning of educational programming events and tours for the Leadership Gwinnett and GLANCE Gwinnett alumni.

The Collins Hill Education Foundation was established in 2006 to support each of the six schools and the almost 10,000 students in the Collins Hill cluster. CHEF continues to initiate a collaborative effort between schools and surrounding communities to expand and strengthen academic opportunities, as well as reaffirm commitment to educational and fine arts excellence.
