As a second semester sophomore, I was selected to be part of a team competing in Marian's business competition for my Business 109 class. Our goal was to work together to create a successful student-run business on campus. In this role, I took the lead on marketing strategies, analyzed and managed data collection from sales, and worked to meet customer demands. Thanks to our hard work and collaboration, our team won the competition, and two of us successfully ran a business on campus. We started with 600 pre-orders and were able to pay back our loan before the fall semester of 2022. By the end of the semester, we had made 900 sales! This experience allowed me to showcase my leadership skills, analytical abilities, and customer-focused mindset. I am grateful for the opportunity to have applied my business knowledge in a real-world setting!
