The Bow Wow Buddies foundations provides grants up to $2,500 for families, shelters and rescues who cannot afford to help a dog due to hardship or lack of funds. As one of four Grants Managers I review all applications and determine if all criteria for a family, vet, shelter or rescue to receive the grant they are applying for is met. Works with marketing department and BOD to create initiatives that continue to bring money in to the Foundation.

Once this was implemented, in a two-year period, dogs went from an average of 32 days in the shelter before adoption to only 8. Created presentations and held classes for shelter volunteers about basic dog body language, to more complex information on dog behavior so they could excel at their specific positions.
