You're struggling to keep up with your brand's social media workflow. How can you simplify it?
Having worked in social media since its beginning, I can attest that it's hard to keep up with every new platform that promises to be the best yet. Don't overthink it, you have limited resources so answer these two questions: 1. Who is your target audience? 2. How much time do you have? A B2B company looking for leads doesn't have to go much further than LinkedIn. A cosmetics company appealing to young people will have to add Instagram and TikTok. Once you know who you want to reach, focus your most precious resource - time - on the places where those people are.

How can you benefit from having multiple mentors?
Mentorship is a collaboration. The mentee is seeking information, advice, and often accountability. Meanwhile most mentors are happy to help, but they'd like to know that what they share is being heard and applied. It is on you, the mentee, to communicate with your mentor(s) and let them know that you tried what they suggested. Even if you decide against the advice, discuss that decision. It's frustrating as a mentor when a mentee calls periodically but doesn't seem to have listened to the previous lessons I'd imparted. I'm happy to donate my time, but I don't want it to feel like a waste. On the other hand, I am thrilled when you share your successes and that you deeply considered my advice, it makes me want to help you even more!

How can you benefit from having multiple mentors?
Think of your mentors as your own personal board of directors. You are the CEO of yourself. You most likely have complex goals that require different skillsets. A corporation's board is comprised of multiple people who have specific knowledge that can assist that company achieve success. Thus, your board / mentors should be more than one person and made up of people you respect who can encourage and educate. Look also for people who challenge you. You want mentors that push back and don't tell you everything you do is great. In the first company I co-founded, we had several mentors that each brought different perspectives and were not shy about telling us what we were doing wrong. I can't properly express their importance to our success.

How can you use product costing to gain a competitive advantage?
Odds are your product is not radically different than a competitor in the eyes of a potential customer. You may see a difference, and you may even be able to articulate that difference, but to the customer, they've probably already made a decision and price most likely has a lot to do with it. Think carefully how to express a single point to at least get their attention. For example, if your product is more expensive, point that out immediately but explain why it's more expensive. Is it locally sourced? Do you pay your staff substantially more? Do you contribute a portion of sales to charity? Make your perceived weaknesses your strengths. You won't win every customer you pursue, but the ones you do win will appreciate you more.
