“I have worked with Lance for nearly 10 years in various marketing and sales leadership roles he has held. The most recent was working for him as a Regional Sales Manager in his VP of Sales role for Guardian USCA. Lance does an incredible job of balancing his unending search for the best knowledge with real market driven experiences to develop a sales organization’s growth strategies. He seeks that knowledge within continually changing market dynamics to create mutually beneficial strategies for the company and its customers. His tenure has provided him the benefit of a deep understanding of the full glass supply chain and the areas that can be influenced to create the most value. Lance is a strong leader with a genuine appreciation for a high performing team and ability to recognize key talent strengths to push individuals to exceed even their own expectations. He is not afraid to recognize success, while at the same time constructively finding ways to improve even the best performers. He is an active listener and while he generally develops a data driven point of view, is open to respectful challenge to exhaust the possibility of finding a better option or strategy. As a supervisor he always prioritized his team, making himself available for coaching sessions and ensuring we had what was needed to drive the team to exceed expectations. Lance is very capable of segmenting customers and finding the right strategy that may be unique to a customer segment with the goal of generating the greatest opportunity. I really enjoyed working with Lance and any organization could benefit from his vast experience and skills!”

Today's KNOWLEDGE Share Lubrizol announces the expansion of its bio-based thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) portfolio for adhesives with the addition of Pearlbond™ ECO 590 HMS TPU for hot-melt adhesives (HMAs). Renewable Sourced High-performing Resin: The high-performing resin from a renewable source can be applied by adhesive formulators or designers in furniture, edge banding, electronics, hot-melt film, textile lamination, seam tape, footwear, and transportation. Pearlbond™ ECO 590 HMS TPU is a fast-setting solution with good adhesion properties for applications that require a toluene-free and more environmentally friendly alternative, as well as high temperature and hydrolysis resistance. In addition, it is designed for improved processability (versus previous existing solutions in HMAs) and has wide wettability. “The high thermoplasticity of this new grade and the fact that it can be processed by extrusion, makes all the difference from previous bio-based HMA polymers available in the market,” said MariaJosep Riba, global sustainability manager for Lubrizol Engineered Polymers. “In addition, it is a bio-based resin with high bio content, up to 59%, which makes it the ideal choice going forward if you are looking for performance and carbon footprint reduction.” The expansion of our Bio TPU solutions, commercialized as Estane® and Pearlbond™ ECO TPU, supports the acceleration of Lubrizol’s global sustainability journey. This journey is based on three strong pillars, including Bio TPU, biomass balanced, and post-industrial recycled TPUs. source:Lubrizol/adhesives.specialchem.com https://lnkd.in/gx5MZmsZ
