“I always felt a recruiter should an expert that helps applicants in ways they would not know to help themselves. With that expectation, I had given up on recruiters last year, and stopped responding to calls. That was, until Kristen reached out. I told her my usual response and expected to end the conversation. She caught my attention by asking why and really heard me out on what I was looking for. From that point on, I felt like Kristen was a partner in my job search, not just someone looking to fill roles they were assigned. She consistently followed up with me, even when she had nothing new, just to ask how things were going. As someone who has a background in sales, as well as tech, I really appreciated that. She showed that she cared about my criteria, as well as the type of company culture I wanted. Ultimately she helped me land a role that I may not have applied to on my own. The job description didn't seem to be a fit, but Kristen spoke to me about the company and what she knew about the team and it turned out to be exactly what I had wanted in my career. Even after starting the job, Kristen has continued to follow up and make sure that I am happy. I have since recommended Kristen to many personal friends, and colleagues. She possesses all of the qualities I wish every recruiter had. She also has all the intangible qualities it takes to work in a service industry working with clients (especially clients who are going through a stressful time). Any company is lucky to have her, we need more recruiters like her!”
