The innovation team role was to facilitate innovation sessions, using the innovation toolkit to drive ideas for new products and business concepts, and a management system to drive a continuous flow of new ideas from concept to consumer

The results of this global initiative changed Whirlpool forever once it resulted in new ideas, products and services that delivered real value to the consumers in ways never before seen in either the company and industry. Innovation became Whirlpool Corporation's differentiating strategy, providing it with a significant competitive advantage.
