What are the steps to troubleshoot a network outage?
The real #1 step— communicate with your stakeholders. Acknowledge that there is a network problem and it’s impact on the business, specifically people. Show empathy, set expectations that the problem is being addressed and that status updates will provided in X way and at Y frequency. Then align urgency of resolution with business impact and expectations set. Bring back the human element of IT services.
