The Third Annual Ohio Nurse of the Year Awards is a state-wide event that recognizes exceptional nurses, creates awareness of professional excellence, and promotes the future of the nursing profession, all while helping to advance the mission of the March of Dimes: to promote the health of babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects, and infant mortality. The March of Dimes recognizes that nurses are at the forefront of our mission and what we’ve accomplished over the last 77 years! The Nurse of the Year selection committee will review hundreds of applications across 18 defined categories ranging from Advanced Practice to Surgical Services. The finalists will be honored at this special, formal evening gala. Nurses play a vital role in our society and are the unsung heroes of the health care provider community. We are proud to honor the work they do.

creativity, courage, and their work has made a substantial difference in one or more of
