As co-founder and co-president of ASU’s Graduate Women’s Association, a now 400-member campus-wide organization providing women and minority graduate students professionalization opportunities, I took up a range of project management and organizational duties: I developed long-and short-range goals for the organization, supervised the implementation of organizational goals, planed and directed events including workshops and panel presentations, and supervised member outreach strategies and the development of web content. During my time as co-president our organization was awarded ASU’s Commission on the Status of Women “Outstanding Achievement and Contribution Award” in recognition of our dedication to increasing diversity.
