Using recurrent neural network to generate Simpson's TV script
Built a neural network based on RNN to generate Simpson's TV scripts based on Simpson's dataset of scripts from 27 seasons. The neural network generates a new script for a scene at Moe's Tavern.

Using computer vision for lane detection for self driving car
Utilized standard computer vision tools such as color selection, region selection, gray scaling, gaussian smoothing, canny edge detection and Hough transform line detection to identify lane markings in an image. The software pipeline was then extrapolated to detect on a video stream.

Developed a linear optimization model to fit the radiation dose to the tumor as closely as possible to reduce the dose to healthy tissues in intensity modulated radiation therapy. This is done by altering the intensities of the beamlets to adjust between the tumor voxels and healthy tissues. The case consisted of 132878 voxels with a target volume of 9777 voxels and 5 critical structures (spinal cord, brain, brain stem, parotid glands and mandible jaw). Predictive diagnosis for discovering patterns in disease detection
Developed an intelligent assistant to aid radiation oncologist in brain tumor detection. Utilized clinical MRI brain scans and applied image segmentation model to detect presence of a tumor called oligodendroglioma in patients. This application helped radiologists to detect small scale tumors that would have otherwise gone undetected.

Predicting age through age-related intrahuman sequence heterogeneity
Top solution, Innocentive challenge winner among 417 solvers
Developed a novel method for predicting biological age on any tissues (sample size 1 to 10ng of DNA) with an accuracy +/- 5 years, within 24 hours using standard next generation sequencing (NGS) technology protocols on an Illumina MiSeq machine. Utilized a commercially available recommendation algorithm and tailored it to develop computational pipeline for the detection of single cell variations in selected genomic regions.
