Education
I had the good fortune to meet a bunch of fantastic young people whose traditional internships at Ad Agency's were disrupted by COVID19 during the summer of 2020. As a mentor, I advised my teams as they unpacked actual RFPs from Color of Change and Twitch and Disney and guided them through the creative development of their responses to the client's asks. Did I mention one of my teams won? Season two, Team Footstomp! for Twitch: Client pick, Judges pick and Best Creative!

Creative Director partnering with ICP as they built out their social media presence and bolstered up their education awareness. Did you know ICP has a fantastic school as a part of their museum space? Too few people were aware of that, so we set about the task of amplifying not just their curriculum, their fantastic faculty, but also the work of the student body, their shows and their work.

In the middle of Nowhere: A case study of Independent Film in the early 90s
-
In 1992 I produced the independently financed The Four Corners of Nowhere. In the summer of 1993, we shot it in Ann Arbor Michigan. In 1994 we were the most anticipated film at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival. And by 1997, we were suing our distributor, a suit we finally won in 1999. A look at the hope and heartbreak of Indie filmmaking in the 90s.

1997 Roy W. Dean Documentary Film Award, The Franklin Cover Up
Roy W. Dean Awards, From the Heart Productions
I pitched this project while it was in progress and to my great fortune, the judges saw it's potential. Sadly it's still unfinished in post-production due to a pending court decision to release sealed footage seized by US Marshalls in 1997. Long Story.
The Franklin Cover Up did also take the 1997 Laura Napor Vision in Film, Documentary Award. -
1995 Sundance Film Festival, Fiction Feature Film Competition
Sundance FIlm Festival
A little annual film festival you may have heard of in Park City Utah organized by the Sundance Institute. We were one of 12 films that were in the Fiction Feature Film Competition, and in 1997, our film would also launch the newly minted Sundance Channel in partnership with Showtime.
Our film would go on the festival circuit in 1995 and in the process we won a few international awards including:
