What are the most effective ways to respond to feedback from industry peers?
Always track and measure changes. Worst thing to do is take a step forward that really causes two steps backwards. If the changes don’t show progress over time, evaluate and makes changes. The same script will not work for every scenario, guest, or topic.

How can you make your writing more engaging with active voice and strong verbs?
I’d caution on the overuse of adverbs because it can “fill” your writing with fluff. Fluff can be seen as a method to disguise lack of knowledge or attempts to keep the reader engaged unnecessarily. So, be authentic and engaging, but to the point. Don’t try too hard to snazz up your writing, but be creative and engaging. Also, use Beta readers to review before you publish and ask them what they liked, didn’t like, length, content, etc. Your best feedback will come from other POVs.

How can podcasters create a call to action with their voice and tone?
Definitely keep your voice the same for your CTA, and be authentic. If it sounds pre-recorded and automated, it will turn people off. Nothing wrong with a pre-recording, but be yourself and don’t change anything. Be authentic and humble during your CTA, especially when asking for likes, follows, and reviews. Tell the listener what those things do to support the show and how it spreads the word, especially if your podcast has a purpose (veteran support, awareness, etc.). That “buy-in” helps legitimize your CTA.
