The Neurofibromatosis Research Program (NFRP) was established in 1996 when the efforts of NF advocates led to a congressional appropriation to fund research in NF. The role of the Consumer Review Board is to review latest research and clinical studies to award grant commitment of $15MM by Department of Defense.
