Sales Pros: Wondering when you'll hit “Sales Capacity”? The math is simple. Understand your sales pipeline's growth potential: Step 1: Assume an 8-hour workday. Most calls will take 30 minutes, and you'll want to give yourself a 30-minute buffer after each call as they often run over and you need to account for time to make follow-ups, etc. This gives you a daily quota of 8 show-ups per day. Step 2: Account for no-shows. Assume a show-up rate of 80%. Step 3: Multiply. With a show-up rate of 80%, your sales potential is scheduling upwards of 10 calls per day, 5 days a week.
