  • BlockTrader: Mobile Food Ordering and Delivery Application

    Developed Swift mobile application similar to UberEats. Enables users to either 1) purchase food and have it delivered, or 2) deliver food to make a profit. Uses Facebook to obtain user information and perform user authentication. Also uses Stripe to process payments from buyers to sellers. Developed a custom-built Ruby on Rails API to manage a back-end database, which was hosted on our server. The project was co-sponsored and supported by Capital One.

  • LED electronic sign application (personal project)

    Developed Python script to enter and manipulate message text for an electronic sign, because the original product software is no longer available.

  • Raspberry Pi online print queue interface (hackathon)

    Designed/coded web application, running on a Raspberry Pi, to interface with a print queue to support mobile device printing; coded in Ruby on Rails.

  • Radio 'Tivo'​ (personal project)

    Automated recording online radio programs to disk using a cron job. Coded website and hosting server to select playlist and download podcast to smartphone, using Apache, XML and PHP.

  • Supermarket digital coupon clipping (personal project)

    Developed Python program for ‘coupon clipping’. All coupons are automatically applied to a supermarket club card to receive price discounts during checkout.

  • Full Stack Web Engineer for Best of the Batch Foundation Fundraiser

    -

    Developed full stack website implementation for the Best of the Batch game and auction fundraiser to track participants, games scores, game queues, auction item bids.
