NBCH is designed to meet the needs of these children by providing them with a safe and loving family environment to reduce their trauma through support and nurturing.

NBCH is staffed with House Parents who are ready to care for children from the ages of 5-18 (and younger if part of a sibling group) for as long as they need.

The children may be able to go back to their biological family in time, while others will need the campus to be their long term home. In either case, the campus provides love and stability while the children wait to hopefully become adopted to a “forever family.” These homes also allow sibling groups to stay together rather than be split up, if at all possible, during these difficult times in their lives. The best way to describe this organization is that it is an “orphanage” in structure, but “family style” in its living arrangements.

The CALL works with local churches to assemble a support team of volunteers to wrap around their foster and adoptive families. We also try to connect churches with other opportunities to serve children in foster care.

Just finished a great training and deployment with Crisis Response International this weekend in Rowlett, Texas. We trained as Crisis Responders and got to help with the Tornado Relief Effort.

Crisis Response International (CRI) resources, trains and mobilizes volunteers, churches and other organizations to respond to disasters and compassion initiatives around the world.
