  • Community Foundation Donor Ad Series

    In order to help grow the assets of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the board leadership wanted to raise the organization's profile in the community. The 42-year-old nonprofit had traditionally kept a low-profile and many of the board members and donors called us "the best kept secret in Palm Beach and Martin counties." I launched an advertising campaign to educate the community about how we connect donors and local nonprofits. The 5-ad series uses real donors…

    In order to help grow the assets of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, the board leadership wanted to raise the organization's profile in the community. The 42-year-old nonprofit had traditionally kept a low-profile and many of the board members and donors called us "the best kept secret in Palm Beach and Martin counties." I launched an advertising campaign to educate the community about how we connect donors and local nonprofits. The 5-ad series uses real donors photographed at locations they support or that represent causes they care about. The theme is "It takes the Community" and each ad tells the donor's story and why they chose to work with the Community Foundation for their philanthropy. We extended the ads into video by interviewing each donor and editing it into a 1-2 minute vignette produced in-kind by WBPT2 and hosted on our YouTube page. The ads have run in print and web. We also bought radio and public television spots to support the campaign.

  • Great Give Palm Beach & Martin Counties

    -

    More than $2.2 million was raised in a single day for 330 local nonprofits during the first-ever Great Give. The 24-hour online fundraising event held on May 6, 2014 was hosted by the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, United Way of Palm Beach County, Martin County Community Foundation and United Way for Martin County. I was part of the marketing team that promoted the day in e-blasts, newsletters, social media, advertising, sponsorships, interviews and promotions.
