Yes, I've started adding the "award-winning" descriptor to every relevant mention of this amazing marketing team and yours truly. You know that feeling when you've just survived production hell, you step back and take in the totality of what you all have conceived and managed to bring to life. You think, "It's done. And it's good!" Then you see the results and think "It worked!" Your colleagues agree, and usually, that's enough to carry the momentum into the next thing. And the next thing. And so on. Therein lies the challenge for high-performance teams. We yearn for the recognition, but the production cycle keeps turning. "State of Manufacturing is an in-depth annual report published by Fictiv to demonstrate its leadership and expertise in the manufacturing industry. Last year's report was generated by surveying over 240 leaders in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and product development to identify developing trends and gather key insights. These insights were packaged as a landing page, ebook/printed piece and was supported with an integrated campaign consisting of email, webinar, live panel discussion at a trade show, PR, and various social media promotions." Celebrating 20 years of the Campaign for Real Beauty, Dove has introduced "The Dove Code" to promote real beauty representation in AI-generated content. Developed with SOKO, this initiative challenges the homogenized beauty standards often seen in AI imagery. When prompts included "according to Dove real beauty campaign," AI-generated images were dramatically more diverse and inclusive. This shows the power of Dove's commitment to authentic beauty. Dove also pledges never to replace real women with AI in their ads. Their campaign highlights the importance of redefining beauty in the digital age, addressing concerns from Dove's global report, which found that 1 in 3 women feel pressured to alter their appearance due to AI-generated images. This follows the removal of her Times Square billboard, which sparked a debate on advertising double standards. Here’s what 600 Americans had to say: 🪧 Consumers reaction to the removal of Molly Baz's billboard is quite mixed. With 36% feeling neutral on the issue, 36% disagreeing with the removal, and 28% agreeing with the removal. 🤰 While opinions on the billboard were mixed, Special K's campaign by Leo Burnett is getting a warm reception, with 49% of consumers seeing it as a progressive move that celebrates pregnancy and motherhood in advertising. 🎗️ It's important to note that while having a socially relevant figure or topic on a product doesn't automatically translate to sales; 2 in 5 consumers said they wouldn’t necessarily be more inclined to buy. This week we want to shine a spotlight on the incomparable Kimberly Valarezo!   Kim began her career as a Freelance Fashion Assistant for Marie Claire before growing into her roles as PR Assistant and eventually Junior Manager at PR Consulting. Three and a half years ago she joined The Right Now. team and we are so grateful to have her as our incredible Director of Media and VIP Relations in New York.   Kim says her favorite thing about working in PR is the variety. “I’m not someone who likes to do repetitive work, I need to do something different that keeps my brain stimulated. I enjoy that we work across a variety of clients, and each is at their own stage of development, growth, and business. We have to meet them where they are, which is part of the fun.”    Her ability to manage the #hybrid schedule is inspiring. She knows which work to prioritize in each environment, focusing on releases, strategy decks, and pitches on #WFH days when she can fully focus on writing. On office days she works on smaller pitches, responds to emails, takes phone calls, and strategizes with the team.
