“I've known Jeff for more years than I care to admit. He's an amazingly talented technology-savvy individual that is always striving to learn more and help others. Recently, I had a time-sensitive project with little to no time to employ the right developer for the job. I ended up having to do a lot of the work myself, and I think I may have driven a few customer service and technical advisors at various companies to distraction, but I got most of the heavy lifting done. However, there were a few items that I couldn't quite get right or find anyone that had the time or inclination to work with me. I decided to send Jeff a quick note over LinkedIn to see if he could help me out or point me in the right direction. I figured he'd get back to me in a few days, and he might have some articles or suggestions for me to try out, but he proved me wrong! He reached out within hours, looked over my project, gave me some actually useful articles, helped me get everything I needed in place, fixed and tightened up some odd stuff that I saw but figured was "just the way it was." Talk about fantastic! If you are ever in a pinch and looking for someone that has already made all the mistakes you want to avoid, I strongly suggest you reach out and see if he has time for a consultation with you or your organization. ”

As a collective, the serves as an in-depth field guide for administrators faced with introducing tech in to their health system. Topics covered range from compliance, risk, security, trust, culture, DEI, more.
My chapter covers culture, and seeks to help bridge the gap between the people of healthcare ↔ the people of tech, discussing practices that allowed each to thrive, to drive mutual understanding, collaboration, trust and respect.
A first time author, I'm absolutely honored to have been selected as the opening chapter to this book.

• "Another new 3D Touch feature is quite useful and goes beyond anything I’ve seen Apple do in their ads touting 3D Touch. In the Flickr Camera roll, you lightly press the photo to see a preview, then move the finger left or right to see all the neighboring photos, really fast, as they zoom by. This gives you a better sense of what’s hidden in your roll, without having to scroll through them one by one." ~USA Today
• "While Facebook, Instagram, Skype, Twitter and Dark Sky have already updated their apps to support 3D Touch – Flickr’s implementation looks to be the best." ~Indian Express/BGR
