    A senior living community located in Fayetteville, PA. Vanguard constructed a 24-unit apartment complex, which included the renovation of an existing 100 year old stone house. Vanguard has also constructed 4 single family cottages on the site as well and are in the process of budgeting out for additional cottages to be constructed in the near future.

  • Welsh Mountain Medical & Dental Center

    This was a very interesting and challenging project. Vanguard completed an interior and exterior renovation to the existing building, which consisted of 4 modular units that were constructed for the main core of the building. The existing structures had numerous types of roofs and roof lines, the main exterior renovation work was the installation of a new roof system. This process required us to erect a steel structure within the existing buildings and creating new footings for each steel…

    This was a very interesting and challenging project. Vanguard completed an interior and exterior renovation to the existing building, which consisted of 4 modular units that were constructed for the main core of the building. The existing structures had numerous types of roofs and roof lines, the main exterior renovation work was the installation of a new roof system. This process required us to erect a steel structure within the existing buildings and creating new footings for each steel member,due the existing structures foundation. The new roof system created a very impressive complex and had great curb appeal. The entire building received new siding to complete the exterior make over. Vanguard also constructed a 1,280 square foot addition, which was going to handle additional dental services for the complex. Other interior renovations, included work to the waiting and reception area, along with the main entrance. All this work was completed while the complex remained open for business. The only time that Welsh Mountain was closed for business during construction was the week between Christmas and New Year, at which time the new roof trusses were installed. Vanguard was pleased to partner with Terri Trimble and her staff at Welsh Mountain for this very unique and exciting project.
