What do you do if your philanthropic event lacks creativity and impact?
One thing I have found helpful is to find people who are passionate about your cause and want to get involved in planning the event. Here are a few things that have helped me: Collaborative Brainstorming Session: Host a dedicated brainstorming session: Invite your business and community partners to a dedicated meeting focused on generating fun and engaging event ideas. Include influencers in your space who may have great ideas and can share the event with their audience. Leverage Their Networks and Expertise: Tap into their experience: Ask them about successful events they've attended or been involved with. What elements made those events engaging? Be bold and different to create an experience that people will talk about!

The nonprofit sector is facing many challenges. How can you help solve them?
In today's ever-changing landscape, the importance of collaboration among smaller nonprofits is key. The future success of our organizations hinges on our ability to work together effectively. By forging strategic partnerships with other nonprofits that share similar missions, we can maximize our impact and better serve our communities. Collaboration allows us to pool resources, share expertise, and amplify our collective voice, ultimately leading to more efficient and sustainable solutions to the challenges we face. Importantly, such collaborations need not come at the expense of losing key donors; instead, they offer opportunities to engage donors in broader, more impactful initiatives.
