    I was involved in the start of Outreach, First as a Fundraiser, then on Gala committee, I utilized the shopping centers, clients, networks, my locations, partnering with the marketing teams of the shopping Centers my stores wherein to raise awareness. I am very proud to have been a small part that contributed to the success that you now see today.

    I truly enjoyed working with Eleanor Watanabe and her staff. My primary role was on the Gala committee. I was very rewarding watching what we accomplished for all of the elementary schools in Cupertino.

    I volunteered and was Vice President and President of PTA at Hyde Middle School. With my retail expertise, we raised over $85,000 in the two years I was on the board.
    We added so many wonderful books to the library, new equipment for the Gym, New lighting, and sound for the auditorium. Also, we added a Jewelry Making Room right next to the Metal shop.

    I Held Christmas Tree donation toy drives, Coat drives, at the Mall where my Stores were. I was lucky to have a great relationship with the marketing team at the shopping centers to be able to coordinate and market these events way before the Internet! I also enjoy exhibiting and working within the Gala.
