BREAKING NEWS!! In light of the ongoing NAR litigation, FHA, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac clarified that seller contributions towards buyer agency commissions won't be considered as interested party contributions (provided they are standard & rational). This indicates that sellers can cover buyer agent commissions in addition to any traditional seller paid closing costs and prepaids - up to 6% for FHA and 2%-9% for conventional buyers. Questions?
