BarCamp Nashville is a free social gathering for the local tech community, and 2015 marks the ninth consecutive year for this thriving conference. It’s unbelievable to see how far Nashville has grown since the beginning, but BarCamp is still a homegrown event aimed at bringing together newcomers to the city with locally sourced talent. The purpose is to create a welcoming atmosphere for anyone looking to improve the Nashville tech scene with us.

Attendees at BarCamp are encouraged to get involved through volunteering, presenting a session or learning from others. If you’re involved in the tech space in any way, we want to hear from you! Sharing your passions (both personal and professional) will help the community grow and better understand Nashville’s homegrown success stories. Past sessions have included “How To Be A Six-Figure Developer,” “Confessions of a Remote Worker,” “Mindfulness at Work” and even “Roast Your Own Coffee with A Popcorn Popper.” Clearly, the sky’s the limit.

We are proud to be the go-to community gathering for Nashville tech heads. Almost all of the city’s digital leaders (Dave Delaney, Kate O’Neill, Marcus Whitney, Nicholas Holland, Knight Stivender and many others) have been directly involved in BarCamp at some point in time. We’re proud to have such a rich history and can’t wait for another amazing event in 2015!
