    The projects include the design and construction of approximately 11 miles of light rail track that links West Oahu with downtown Honolulu, passing major hubs like Honolulu International Airport and Ala Moana Center. The guideway is a two-track aerial structure with a short portion at grade. Construction includes wet and dry utility relocations, daily traffic diversions and closures, deep bore shafts, cast-in-place columns, precast segmental span-by-span erection, and two balanced cantilever bridges spanning the H-1 freeway. Also included in these contracts are the foundations for several stations and a Kiewit-operated 34-acre precast facility for the segmental construction.

Following extensive CMGC pre-construction services, Kiewit constructed a one-lane road from the Richardson Highway to the Tanana River, the 3300-ft. bridge, and staging areas for military use. Completed in 2014, the bridge is the longest in Alaska and features the largest and longest piling and longest steel girders in the state as well as a 10,000-ft.-long riprap armored levee. The project included 19 piers, 2 abutments, causeway and levee embankment work, installing and removing over 3300 ft. of trestle and 3300 ft. of causeway, and installing 76 12-ft.-tall steel plate girders and bridge deck
