As Hurricane Beryl crashes into the Texas coast, we're reminded that while the immediate impacts are dire, the long term consequences can be equally disastrous. In this piece, Michael T. Family Access-Fighting for Children's Rights and Steel Partner Foundation will be hosting our 2024 virtual international conference on October 5-6.. "You Asked, We Deliver". This conference will not focus on just one topic as we have done in past events. We will be focusing on many topics that you have asked us to speak on. This 2-day event will be filled with many subjects on alienation, knowledge, and support. We will be covering all of the "hot topics" that you asked to be discussed by our experts and professionals. Each week we will focus on one of the presenters and their topic. This week, we focus on attorney Chris Smith. “Secrets to Litigating Parental Alienation Allegations” ​The manner and arguments used in defending against alienation, or even defending an allegation of PA, make the difference in the success or failure of one's case. There are legal arguments often overlooked that may benefit your case. Chris Smith dives into the strategies and positions and real life scenarios which could mean the difference in the success of your case. During the conference, we will also have Megan Hunter as our moderator with live Q&A with the presenters. You may submit your questions during the presentations. Our Kayden's law panel will be pre-recording their questions. You must submit your questions for this panel no later than August 15, 2024 to familyaccessinnc@aol.com. We also will be having our one on one chat that has been a huge success again. It will go from 9 PM-7 AM EDT on Saturday night. This is a time where you can meet on our zoom to talk with others and get support and understanding from other alienated family members. On Sunday night, from 8 PM-10 PM EDT, we offer a time to share your testimony for those who wish to attend. There is incredible insight here from respondents. Kitchen table issues continue to dominate priorities for Latinos, understanbly so. Grants should tie to your strategy rather than strategy being determined by pursuing grants. Grants are wonderful in their rightful place as part of an overall fundraising strategy.

The Latinx Alliance is a cross-sector leadership network of Latinx leaders – public, private, nonprofit, philanthropic – focused on advocating for, and improving the well-being of, Latinx communities across Georgia. As one of Georgia’s fastest-growing groups, we require that the broader Georgian community recognize our growing demographic importance and dedicate appropriate resources and attention consistent with this reality. Our destiny is Georgia’s destiny. The Latinx Alliance focuses on three strategic priorities: 1. Transformative Narrative: owning our narrative and history and educating ALL Georgians about the growing importance of the Latinx community to our shared destiny. 2. Leadership Development: developing and supporting Latinx leadership across sectors and connecting them strategically around Alliance high-level objectives. 3.
