The Senior Jewish Educator and Peer Engagement Initiative used "networked approaches" to student engagement - having student interns reach out to their peers and involve them in non-traditional activities.   • Transformer: How to Build a Network to Change a System

    Monitor Institute with CGBD and Garfield Foundation

    An overview of the ReAmp energy network in the midwest - one of the most compelling and successful examples of "collective impact" in recent years. This article explores the basic organizing principles ReAmp participants used to create an 8-state network of funders and nonprofits in order to significantly increase their impact on climate change issues in the Midwest. A must-read for anyone interested in collaboration and collective impact approaches.

  • Breaking New Ground: Using the Internet to Scale

    Monitor Institute and Kaboom

    An overview of the innovative approach that Kaboom - a national nonprofit which builds playgrounds in low-income areas - used to scale it's model much more quickly. By open-sourcing the IP, and allowing self-organizing communities to access their model, Kaboom was able to increase its rate of expansion 10x with only 1x the investment. A great source for others looking to emulate this networked approach.
