Of all the semiconductor GCCs in India, 42% are in Bengaluru, followed by 23% in Hyderabad (GCC - Global Capability Centers, ie. offshore tech & business units of MNCs). Just these two cities together house 82% India's total chip designer population. Why the other cities which have good presence in software and IT applications are simply not able to attract chip design related product or services companies? That is something to ponder upon. Just some random thoughts about what problems can we solve!! Somehow Efficiency has taken such a backseat and we are just updating us technologically. What is the level of efficiency has technologies adoption has given us. Going to airport and boarding a flight takes 2 to 3 hours... Do we have to reach Railway station or bus station 2 to 3 hours before?? An order from app based food delivery service from a nearby place takes 1 hour to 1.5 hour to reach. Ever spent 1 hour waiting for food at restaurant?? Huge queue at Multibrand Shopping stores. What is the average time required for billing one person, Local shop will bill you hell lot of stuff in less than a minute Recharge an electric EV takes way longer than fuel refilled (Although i don't have an EV) I think technology should be evaluated as per its efficiency and if any technology is not efficient.. that itself is a greatest problem to solve. Now AI is here... lets see how can we use it to solve efficiency problems!!!

Customer Service is an attitude that an executive face speaks and voice carries! After a long, I used #IndiGo (6E 2774 Del-Hyd) flight today and I am touched by the attitude the whole staff (@Ishika, @Nandisa, @Soumya, @Tripona and even captain tone) had displayed even while addressing and attending to whimsical demands by passengers. The message was loud and clear "We Care For You!" Way to Go #IndiGo! Keep it Up! "...I do not need your freebies but just smileys!!!" Note: I am sorry and empathize with you if you did not have same experience with the same carrier but since I loved it today, I am gonna shout it loud as I read somewhere "If you like our service - tell all, if you don't - tell us!" It is same we must do with our employees, "praise in public, criticize in private". Being a part of #Synopsys Customer Success Group and #SolvNetPlus, I know what it means to get customer feedback for each interaction! Hence this post to give my feedback and to encourage all - Give feedback with an intent and in a style to spread good vibes to create better stuff next time!

Doing more with less is what I have gotten into these days. I have seen BOM and demands coming to me/my team in TBs of storage and GBs of Memory and nearly half a dozen cores of 1-2Ghz. Today I am developing software for systems with less than 4MB of storage, 320KB of memory and two cores giving me 80Mz. Embedded systems and IOT were part of a magical world for me until few months ago. Simple things like back light of an LCD screen on a panel going off after few seconds, clock ticking away on the microwave, the beep when I turn on/off the fan or aircon, all were expected behaviour. Now that I am doing it myself, I am having the Chuck Nolan moment of having made his fire at that island. Coming from a time when 16Mz PC-AT using 640kb of memory and 1.44 even 360kb floppy disks was luxury, I see my current hardware is way superior to in early 90s. I used to juggle memory then through overlay files and TSRs, creating linked lists as and when I see need to store/purge data. INT21H was my thing for event driven coding. HiMem the one beyond 640kb I used it as RAMDisk which is like blazing fast drive. Brings back memories. The world of embedded systems hardware and the ecosystem has matured to a point where I am seeing otherwise heavy HTTPS, gRPC and Node.js implementation seen possible in such tiny bit of hardware. Host to Host API calls, is just few lines of code away. The capability of a platform like Espressif which gives BLE, WiFi with station and AP mode to coexist, it's ability to interface a ton of peripherals it's amazing. These have been around for years, I at times feel - where was I? Who knows, or one day AI systems which rely on blazing fast GPU hardware may even find its way into these tiny nano scale hardware. Today, while traveling internationally, I encountered a frustrating issue at Chennai International Airport. I had excess baggage and wanted to pay the extra fee using my RuPay card. Despite the ongoing promotion of RuPay by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Modi at the international level, it failed me at home. The airport declined my RuPay card and only accepted Mastercard and Visa. This experience highlights a significant oversight. If we want to promote RuPay internationally, it must be fully supported and accessible within India, especially at our international airports. I urge NPCI, RuPay and PM of India to address this issue promptly. We need to ensure that RuPay is a reliable and accepted payment method across all platforms in India. Otherwise, how can we expect global acceptance? Vistara - TATA SIA Airlines Ltd. Ground Crew Exceeded Expectations! Caught in Mumbai's peak hour traffic today, we arrived for flight UK875 (Mumbai to Hyderabad) just 5 minutes after boarding closed. Thankfully, with help from fellow passengers and security staff, we reached Gate 44A of Mumbai T2 within 10 minutes. While the gate was closed per Vistara's protocols, a ground staff member (possibly Asif as seen in photo) went above and beyond. He contacted his supervisor (Imran) , the duty manager, and even the captain, advocating for us as a special case. The entire team impressed us. They reworked paperwork to accommodate our request and allowed us to board. This experience exemplifies Vistara's commitment to exceptional service and its brand identity. Dear Vishal Marar Rajesh Tomar Varghese Joseph Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning, I am writing to express my profound frustration and helplessness regarding the ongoing service issues with my Hitachi air conditioning units, which have been unresolved for over a month. The service experience I have encountered has been extremely disappointing and has significantly impacted my business operations. I logged a service call a month ago 24042706138 and 24040905941, and despite multiple follow-ups, my air conditioning units remain non-functional. The service technicians Firdosh and Tajuddin visited my site, opened the AC units, and left them in a disassembled state. They have not returned to complete the repairs. They even charged me amount and also ate food at my restaurant free of cost. False Closure of Tickets: My service tickets have been closed seven times with the false claim that I was unreachable. This is entirely untrue, as I have made myself available and have been actively trying to get in touch with your team. Unprofessional Behavior: The technicians not only failed to complete the repairs but also exhibited unprofessional behavior. We somehow felt that they're not capable enough to fix the issue. They spoke rudely, did not answer calls, and even charged me for the service. They always promised that they'll visit in next 2 hours and never turned up. Business Impact: The non-functioning ACs have resulted in significant losses for my restaurant over the past 20 days. This is an urgent matter as it affects my business's ability to provide a comfortable environment for our customers. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this issue through the regular service channels, I have received no satisfactory response or resolution. This ongoing problem is not only affecting my business but also eroding my trust in Hitachi's service quality. I demand immediate and effective action to resolve this issue either by repair or replacement. Both the ACs are just 5 months old and bought brand new from Croma Koramanagala Bengaluru branch. #hitachiac
