National Charity League was established in 1925, when a group of women founded the organization in Los Angeles. They supported the American Red Cross by making layettes and assembling food baskets for the hungry during the holidays. Through its unique 8-week Job Readiness Program, Women’s Empowerment educates and empowers homeless women with the skills and confidence necessary to get a job, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and regain a home for themselves and their children.

The Foundation will develop partnerships with like-minded nonprofit and charitable organizations to offer education on important health issues for children in Northern California. We will offer grants to organizations who are currently working on worthy child related community projects to ensure that their work is completed successfully.
