“Gaby was my supervisor for two years at Iora Health where her leadership, personality, and knowledge about Risk Adjustment were a huge reason why our Medicare Risk Operations department was so successful. Gaby came in everyday with a smile on her face and she was friendly with everyone no matter what their role was at Iora Health. Her passion for Risk Adjustment was infectious. She was the main contact for our department both within the company and with our Medicare Advantage sponsors. In our monthly meetings with our sponsor Humana, she took charge and made sure that they properly addressed our questions and concerns. In our own department meetings, she was the one making sure that everybody was aware of their responsibilities for the week and we were all on the same page. My main responsibility was making sure the claims of our Medicare Advantage payers were processed successfully. In this role, I reported directly to her and she was very helpful in helping me grow as a professional. Some of the skills she taught me was the importance of planning out the approach for every task, reviewing your work, and communication. Working with her everyday I was able to see the value she put in being organized and not just setting goals for the department but making sure those goals got accomplished. There are few people I've seen with her work ethic as she was always willing to come in early or stay late to fulfill her role to her maximum potential. The lessons she has taught me in our two years together will stay with me forever and I know she will succeed no matter what the future holds for her. ”
