How can you choose the right presentation format for executive-level communication?
Powerpoint is not always better, even if you're heading into an executive-level meeting. Get to know the executives you're working with and how they best receive information. Consider the point you're trying to make, the time you have to make it and the audience you are sharing with. No matter what format you choose - lead with goals, highlights and/or key takeaways. Executives do not have ample time to consume and retain information. They will thank you for getting straight to the point and choosing concise language, as long as you are prepared to answer detailed follow-up questions, provide helpful background and work through feedback and scenarios as needed.
