“When I think of Emily, three words come to mind: workhorse, tenacious, and relatable. Emily is one of the hardest workers I know – she gives 150% every day, without avail. She possesses a high internal motivation to consistently do better today than she did yesterday, and her internal commitment to consistently producing better results means that each day she is strategically finding new ways to better the organizations she is a part of. Emily sets and exceeds the highest of expectations. Because of that, her word truly means something. If Emily says she will get something done for you, it will not only get done, but it will be the best it can be. In addition to Emily’s work ethic and fierce tenacity, she is also one of the most relatable people I’ve ever met. Anyone who meets Emily wants to talk to Emily again. She has such an impact on everyone she meets. Whenever we had an event where we needed to connect with a new stakeholder immediately, Emily is who always came to mind. She is quick to form and develop strong relationships with others, and will do whatever she can to serve them. As someone who had the privilege of managing Emily directly, I can say that I miss her dearly, because she is someone who made my job as a manager easier. Not only did she always go above and beyond on all of her work, but she would also check in to see how she could best support me. Now, watching Emily as a supervisor and manager herself, I am in awe at how she supports her staff, provides them guidance, while also challenging them to achieve their goals. Emily is a fierce supporter of others. One of Emily's favorite quotes is "A diamond is coal that did well under pressure." Emily is someone who thrives under pressure, and will turn anything she touches into diamonds. Emily is someone I would hire again and again, if given the chance. She is someone you never want to pass up for any opportunity – and I hope to have the opportunity to hire her again in the future. I would do it without question – she is truly that good!”
