“I am so pleased to have recruited Ekin for the position of Strategic Portfolio Advisor in early 2018, as a member of a small and select team of high-potential high-impact future leaders, where she performed consistently in the top range each of 3 years. The team’s mandate was very broad, ambitious and ambiguous -- namely to advise upon and assure optimum performance of the R&D and Technology organization of ~3500 persons, with Ekin’s primary focus on the catalysis and analytical area of ~550 persons. The team was new, the role was new, the organization was new, and the ambitions were sky high. Ekin’s combination of technical and emotional intelligence, organizational insights and sheer ability to get massive amounts of complex work done shone brightly in this highly ambiguous environment. A prime example of her ability to bring order and direction, and to drive change was her creation of a systematic method to rank very diverse R&D projects, so as to assure better decision making by the senior leaders she advised. She is able to achieve this by combining her ability to identify an opportunity, to conceive and fully develop a solution, and to bring others (much more senior than herself) along in her change journey. Ekin is a powerhouse asset to any highly ambitious team! ”
