......you are both correct, as long as their input is alignment with the ultimate goals of the organization. The goal and change should be focused on 'what' we must do, and we solicit input from those affected about 'how'. Do you agree?

Constant improvement anchored on trust and empathic intent helps resolve conflict during times of change. Providing updates with evidence and asking questions about what an individual recommends about being better, as well as, what we can do better to improve the analytics being shared results in buy-in. It also eliminates conflict by developing an environment of 'together the ants eat the elephant'. 'WE' are on this journey, so if we have conflict, let's focus on solutions versus emotions.

Realizing I'm not the smartest person in the room and knowing other perspectives are important helps with change management. Asking those around about their thoughts about a change not only helps them adopt the final solution, but it may allow leaders to make subtle changes.

Transparency, empathy, inclusivity will help mitigate change conflict. Helping everyone impacted by change (employees, stakeholders, customers/constituents and community influencers) understand, with data, the drivers for change helps. Additionally communicating for understanding and inclusion (others perspectives) will help resolve conflicts. Lastly, ensure the business case is built neigh evidence and says everyone understands, with access to updates, will ensure changes are implemented consistently. PS - individual and team accountability by embedding tactics at all levels ensures everyone rows in the same direction.
