“I had the pleasure of meeting Denzell Perry when I first started my position as Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Alliance for Boys & Girls Clubs in 2012. He was the National Youth of the Year winner for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and that in itself was a major achievement. However, hearing his story and then meeting him in person, and hearing him speak solidified why he was one of the most inspiring, giving, and enthusiastic people that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. His story is captivating, gripping and life changing, and his message of hope made him the leader that he is today! I have worked with Denzell for the past 7 years, and he is an excellent motivational speaker and always willing to serve others. I have had him speak and inspire our youth at our Teen Summit, Youth of the Year events and worked with him in his professional positions as well. One of Denzell’s many notable qualities is that he is very personable and dedicated to helping others find their inner voice. It is always a pleasure to work with him and partake in his authentic energy and nature. His achievements are amazing and he is only in his early twenties, and I can't wait to see how he makes the world a better place with every step he takes. ”
