    The National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA) is an educational, non-profit, world-wide organization, equipped to combine the transportation industry's manpower and skills with the expertise of those in the government and military to achieve the mutual objective of a strong and responsive transportation capability.

    NDTA links all segments of the transportation industry through its 76 chapters in cities throughout the United States and in 10 countries. The association membership -- totaling more than 8,000 -- represents users, manufacturers, mode carriers, information technology and related military, government and civil interests.

    NDTA coordinates programs and activities among commercial industry executives and their counterparts in the government and military. This is accomplished through special committees, which design action programs in emergency transportation preparedness, government advisory assistance and research.

This Task Force has final authority on program content and is responsible for inviting participation by individual members and guest speakers subject to the approval of Worldwide ERC.

    The Task Force’s primary objective is to generate and evaluate ideas and subjects for inclusion in the Americas Mobility Conference program. This Task Force has final authority on program content and is responsible for inviting participation by individual members and guest speakers subject to the approval of Worldwide ERC.
    Task Force members attend the program planning Task Force meeting. At that time Task Force members discuss potential topics for the upcoming Conference, select specific topics for sessions, and then take ownership of one or two sessions for the Conference. Task Force members are responsible for developing the session content of both international sessions and U.S. domestic sessions for their respective areas, recruiting speakers, overseeing the communication between speakers prior to the meeting, and participating in the actual session either as a moderator or to introduce the moderator at the 2017 Americas Mobility Conference in Atlanta, GA, USA.

Focusing on the needs of its members, the DRRC's goal is to give corporate human resource managers and service providers the tools to effectively address the complex issue of domestic and international relocations.

    My role as the Membership Chair is to increase the membership through effective recruiting of corporate and supplier members, fostering membership engagement and advising the Programs Committee to create the most valuable membership experience.
