How can you set prices for SEO copywriting based on content length?
No doubt there is a balance between optimizing what you are writing for SEO vs prioritizing tone, voice and expertise from our experts. When looking at one off pieces, the quality is more robust and requires more time of the SME. I like to evaluate where in the visitors journey the content will also live and what type of CTAs you are looking to leverage in determine the effort put in. AI is helping us consolidate time but still requires an SEO expert to analyze and assess how much time we need on an individual piece vs the overall strategy that helps us become more efficient during the execution.

How can you set prices for SEO copywriting based on content length?
In SEO content planning, we first set a strategy: choosing topic clusters and pinpointing the content's role in the sales funnel. We also decide if a subject matter expert (SME) needs to be involved. Specializing in professional service firms, we streamline SME involvement with a quick 15-minute interview, followed by fact-checking. This ensures quality without wasting their time. The marketing team later fine-tunes tone and voice. Pricing is flexible: either package-based, encompassing a pillar page and blog posts for a topic cluster, or individual articles. A standard 500-800 word blog post costs $400 but entails all the necessary steps to ensure success and maximize the rest of the marketing teams time.
