Sun Valley - Skip Town Campaign

"Skip Town" is an interactive web experience that lets anyone skip a stone on a lake in Sun Valley, Idaho, right from their computer. Users can control the trajectory and power of their “throw,” watch it skip in real time, post a video on Facebook and Twitter, and compare results on the leaderboard.
To make the experience possible, Eleven engineered and built a stone-skipping robot (“Skippy”) in-house, then drove it in an RV to the shores of a remote lake in Sun Valley, where a 2mbps…"Skip Town" is an interactive web experience that lets anyone skip a stone on a lake in Sun Valley, Idaho, right from their computer. Users can control the trajectory and power of their “throw,” watch it skip in real time, post a video on Facebook and Twitter, and compare results on the leaderboard.
To make the experience possible, Eleven engineered and built a stone-skipping robot (“Skippy”) in-house, then drove it in an RV to the shores of a remote lake in Sun Valley, where a 2mbps satellite Internet allowed users to remotely control the robot. The end result is a site that puts summertime in the mountains literally at your fingertips.
