The goal of DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation (DCEDC) is to improve living standards and create economic opportunities for DeKalb County, Illinois. Since its inception in 1987, the DCEDC has overseen over $1.6 billion in business and industrial development. These projects expanded and diversified the county's tax base while adding over 10,000 jobs and helping increase resident employment by over 20,000.

Join us for the DeKalb Corn Classic. Beginning and ending in Downtown DeKalb, the route will take runners through historical neighborhoods, along the Kishwaukee River via Prairie Park, and through NIU's campus and Huskie Stadium.

It is a constant joy to help bring experiences to our youth they may never have had outside of Boy Scouts. Through Scouting, they see the wonders of our country, build many leadership skills, and get pushed constantly outside their comfort zone.
I was fortunate to travel with the boys to the Boundary Waters for a canoe trip, to Kentucky for a climbing and repelling high adventure trip, and to Swamp Base where we paddled over 60 miles in the heart of the Atchafalaya Swap in Louisiana.…It is a constant joy to help bring experiences to our youth they may never have had outside of Boy Scouts. Through Scouting, they see the wonders of our country, build many leadership skills, and get pushed constantly outside their comfort zone.

Plus so many other cool campouts and adventures to mention.
Oh yeah, and you can't beat just sitting around poking a campfire on a cold evening. :) -

Our mission is to educate our students to reach their potential while preparing them to contribute to our global society.
Initiated and completed the initiative to bring 1:1 technology to students during my time on the School Board. Sometime I am still immensely proud of still today. -
